Water Talk: Native Plants 101 RSVP
Join us for an informative class presented by the Denton County Master Gardeners and Upper Trinity Regional Water District focused on how native plants can transform your landscape into a beautiful, sustainable, and low-maintenance outdoor space. In this Water Talk, you’ll learn about the many benefits of using native plants in North Texas, including water conservation, improved wildlife habitat, and support for pollinators such as bees, butterflies, and birds.
We’ll cover key landscape design principles to help you choose the right plants for the right place, considering factors such as sunlight, shade, soil conditions, and plant spacing. In addition, we’ll discuss working with homeowners associations (HOAs), including the importance of obtaining approval before installation and understanding your rights when incorporating native landscaping into your property.
Native Plants 101 will be offered at the three different locations and dates listed below. Each class will be held from 6:30 – 7:30 pm. Register for the class of your choice and you will receive a confirmation email with final details.
