Our Goal

  • Thomas E. Taylor Water Treatment Plant, Lewisville
    • 1999, 2007, 2012, 2017 and 2019, Best Tasting Water in the North Texas region – from the Texas Water Utilities Association
    • 2008, 2013, 2018, Best Tasting Water in the State of Texas – from the Texas Water Utilities Association
    • 2012, Texas American Water Works Association State Award – from the American Water Works Association
  • Tom Harpool Water Treatment Plant, Providence Village
    • 2019, Outstanding Large Membrane Plant & Best Tasting Membrane Water in South Central Region – from the South Central Membrane Association, covering Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
  • Lakeview Regional Water Reclamation Plant
    • 2023, Platinum Peak Performance Award – from the National Association of Clean Water Agencies recognizing 24 continuous years of perfect compliance with its TPDES discharge permit.
    • 2009, Operator of the Year – from the Water Environment Association of Texas recognized Ron Lucero, the Lakeview Plant’s Superintendent of Operations as Operator of the Year
    • 2008, Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant of the Year Award – from Water Environment Association of Texas
  • Riverbend Water Reclamation Plant
    • 2023, Platinum Peak Performance Award – from the National Association of Clean Water Agencies recognizing 15 continuous years of perfect compliance with its TPDES discharge permit.
    • 2019, Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant of the Year Award – from Water Environment Association of Texas
    • 2020, George W. Burke Jr. Award – from Water Environment Association of Texas.
  • Peninsula Water Reclamation Plant
    • 2021, Platinum Peak Performance Award – from the National Association of Clean Water Agencies recognizing 19 continuous years of perfect compliance with its TPDES discharge permit.
    • 2010, 2024, Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant of the Year Award (Category 1) – from Water Environment Association of Texas
  • Doe Branch Water Reclamation Plant
    • 2023, Platinum Peak Performance Award – from the National Association of Clean Water Agencies recognizing 7 continuous years of perfect compliance with its TPDES discharge permit since the plant began operation in 2016.
